Workforce Australia Local Jobs Program - Central West team was proud to host the Mature Aged Talent Hub at the Adaptive Skills Hub part of Lithgow Emerging Economy Plan (LEEP) at Lithgow City Council. The event brought together employers, training providers, employment service providers and community organisations to connect mature aged workers with opportunities, support and resources.

The event featured valuable insights and presentations from Sureway Employment and Training CTA program, Services Australia - Financial Information Service, HammondCare, APM Employment Services - SEA Program, VERTO (Australia), TAFE NSW, Uniting as well as local employers McDonald's Lithgow and nbn® Australia, who shared their experiences and success stories as part of a panel.

It was fantastic to see attendees engaging in meaningful conversations, exploring training and employment pathways, and contributing to our Talent Wall, highlighting the skills, experience and aspirations they bring to the workforce.
