On 2 September, the Workforce Australia Local Jobs Program Central West supported the Central-West Orana Jobs Fair in Mudgee, delivered by ACEREZ. The event brought together job seekers, employers, training providers, employment service providers, and major projects from across the region, creating valuable opportunities for attendees to explore local careers, connect with employers and learn about emerging workforce opportunities. As part of the event, the Local Jobs Program Central West highlighted a dedicated jobs board featuring vacancies from exhibiting organisations, providing attendees with direct access to a wide range of employment opportunities. The event also highlighted the significant role major projects, and the renewable energy sector are playing in driving regional investment, infrastructure, and job creation. Building on the success of the Mudgee event, the Local Jobs Program Central West also attended the Central-West Orana Jobs Fair in Dubbo on 9 September, continuing to connect local communities with employment, training, and career pathways across the region. These events showed the value of collaboration between industry, education, employment services, and government to ensure local people can access and benefit from the growing opportunities being created across the Central West and Orana.
