Voestalpine Railways Australia, Yakka Training, and the Local Jobs Program Central West delivered a fully funded four‑day Voestalpine Railways Pre‑employment Program in Bathurst. The initiative, supported through NSW Training Services Smart and Skilled, provided participants with Rail Core Units from the Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure, a tour of Voestalpine’s Bathurst facility, and insights into workplace expectations and career pathways. The program helped job seekers build foundational skills, industry understanding, and valuable employer connections within the rail and manufacturing sectors. Bathurst had seventeen commencements and sixteen completions.
